International Presence and Experience

Thanks to the particular experience developed throughout many years at an international level and in emerging countries, Private Equity Partners is able to provide companies with the necessary support to internationalise their activities facilitating contacts and strategic alliances with local industrial and financial operators.

To give a tangible and structured answer to the growing necessity of internationalisation of the participated companies, in 2005 Private Equity Partners Shanghai was founded, with its offices in the financial core of Shanghai, PuDong. An entirely dedicated bilingual staff based in China is at the participated companies' disposal to aid, structure and conclude agreements, acquisitions or partnerships with Chinese operators in various sectors of interest.

Private Equity Partners is also considering a direct presence in the Indian and Russian markets, where extremely successful acquisitions have already been made with and for participated companies.

The management team has also developed a unique experience and expertise in Italy as a fund manager in Eastern Europe having established and managed Chase Gemina Polska Sp. z o.o., which was chosen by the Polish government and the World Bank, through an official tender, as the Fund Manager n. 6 “Magna Polonia” in connection with the Polish Mass Privatisation Programme. The Fund has primary responsibility for managing 36 Polish companies and, in 1997, was successfully listed in the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Assistance and consulting have also been offered to the “European Bank for Reconstruction and Development” (EBRD) on various private equity investment related issues like the Slovak Post Privatisation Fund.

Private Equity Partners has been participating for years to several initiatives promoted by the European Community and EVCA for the development of private equity activity.
